Fountains Abbey

The Abbey is about 14 miles from Harrogate. There will be a guided tour of this most remarkable place. The leader of the tour is Brother James Hagerty of Bradford Circle - an eminent historian. Fountains is a heritage site - the Cistercian Abbey is situated in beautiful grounds which are also the home of a herd of deer. There is also an Elizabethan mansion and one of the finest monastic watermills in Britain.

The tour departs at 9.00 am and costs £12.00
